Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Family Medicine
• Open to Residents and Fellows
• Open to Visa Candidates
• ???Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered physician New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Family Practice Physician
• Three to five years as a Primary Care Medical Director
• One year of EMR experience
• Board CertifiedSKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

Responsibilities:

A leading clinic in New York, New York, has an exclusive opportunity for a Director of Internal Medicine to join their team.This exclusive position offers the chance for an experienced healthcare professional to make a positive impact on a dedicated team and vibrant community.Position Highlights:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 1 weekend shift per month
• Call Requirement: 2 months per year by phone
• Patient Census: 14 per day
• Support Staff: MA
• EMR: ECW
• Spanish-speakers preferred, interpreters available
