Qualifications

• ???Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered New York physician state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Internal Medicine Physician
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements:• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

Responsibilities:

A medical center in Queens, New York, has an opening for an Internal Medicine Physician to join its Ambulatory Care team.Deliver exceptional patient care in a patient-centered environment, and earn quality benefits.About the Opening:
• Schedule: 2 clinic sessions per day, 8a-5p, Monday-Friday
• Call: 2-week offsite blocks, semiannually
• Will supervise 2-4 residents per clinic session
• Will participate in resident noon conference, which includes delivering lectures
