AdventHealth Well 65+ is seeking several board certified/board eligible Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and/or Geriatric trained physicians for exciting primary care opportunities with AdventHealth Well 65+ in Orlando, Tampa and Daytona Beach, Florida.

Be part of a ground floor growth opportunity! Established in 2021, AdventHealth Well 65+ consists of 4 community practice sites throughout central Florida in the Orlando and Daytona Beach areas. With a goal to grow to 20 offices in just three years, physicians will join a brand backed by an integrated hospital system established in 1908. With 25 AdventHealth hospitals in the Tampa, Orlando, and Coastal regions of Central Florida, Well 65+ is fully furnished with a resource rich, connected system of care for referrals and all streams of specialty service lines.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)

Practice Description

AdventHealth Well 65+ offers a multi-disciplinary approach to primary care for members 65 and older, dedicated to providing members "whole person care" for all health and well-being needs in one location.

Since its inception in 2021, AdventHealth Well 65+ has consistently stayed in the 95%+ range for patient satisfaction. Fulfill your calling at AdventHealth Well 65+ and keep patients healthier and happier to enjoy more of what life has to offer in the beautiful sunshine state.

At work, you will experience:

• More time with patients. Up to 60 minutes with patients to answer questions and address concerns.
• Smaller patient panel. Max patient panel of 700 per physician.
• Lower Daily Patient Census. 10-14 patients/day
• Interdisciplinary team. Includes RN Case Management, 2 Health Coaches per Physician, Social Worker, Pharmacy, Care Coordinators, Welcome Coordinator, HCC Coding Support, and Administrator.
• Collegiality. Work in a team-oriented environment with like-minded physicians in offices housing 4-6 providers.
• Full Spectrum Utilization. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it should be and utilize all of your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, procedures, resulting in lower number of appropriate specialty consults.
• Environment. Our offices are new and intentionally designed to meet the needs of our geriatric population. Large Wellness suits, huddle rooms, community rooms, and more.
• Community. Beautifully appointed community rooms in each clinic to foster a social environment with activities, refreshments, and learning opportunities.
